They can only play the teams lined up against them and it's much better (and more fun) to look good against bad teams than bad against them.

Preseason..... It's not about Team vs Team, not about score board...

It's value is extracted from matchup a and individual performance.

Winning both games tells me nothing and doesn't strike any chord good or bad. Shutting down Charles and McFaden does. Historically even 1/2 azzed RBs will break one on us no matter if its preseason, regular season, or post season. Those two are elite veteran backs.... and they went no where on the ground.

If you can shut down the run game then wouldn't it be logical that their air game will be hindered a little? The adverse is touted as being the key to establishing a passing game on offense.

The best thing about the preseason is actually seeing improvement and problems getting fixed....and we definitely saw that.
