this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Carl Nicks in an October 2012 news story characterized leaving the Saints to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as "lollipops and rainbows.” Well, now a CBS Sportsline story states Nicks is gonna miss a month with an MRSA infection... Hey ...

I seriously doubt Nicks only misses a month. MRSA is extremely serious. It can take months to beat, if you do beat it. It can be life threatening. It can take a limb.

WOW... it's several players on the Bucs team. I feel bad for them. That is no joke that MRSA. It appears it affects the Patriots also. The Saints better not get infected when we play them early in the year.

I don't have a problem when a player leaves. I support them and really wish the best for them. However, when a former player starts talking bad about my team; screw 'em!
