It is a very serious loss.. Not a loss of talent but a loss of warm bodies and we haven't much cap to work with.

LOL, no. Trust me he will not be missed in the slightest. This is not 2009, or even 2010, 11 or 12. The man CANNOT play linebacker AT ALL and we're much better off giving that roster spot to a younger, faster guy who can actually play the position competently instead of watching Will Smith halfheartedly dragging his fat ass around the field and pretending he's still worthwhile because he went to one Pro Bowl forever ago.

He is a veteran and Martez/Junior have not been around.
I honestly don't think he would've made the final roster unless cutting him was cost-prohibitive (which is very possible). Jay freaking Richardson has outplayed him by a mile and he's been out of the league for the last 2 years. |
