How about having more players on the roster with the same cap? This will have the effect of forcing down wages, reducing the effect of any one player having a catastrophic impact on the financials, as well as having more players to rotate in, reducing fatigue, which is the biggest contributor to injuries (aside from questionable hits). |

Re: Ouch....
my theory on the ACL injuries is what I have targeted Jim and John Harbaugh of doing the last 2-3 years as a coach.
That is teaching players techniques that intentionally injure players, its not necessarily limited to only targeting knees which lead to it that is being taught by these coaches though. But we saw a glimpse of it in the 49ers/Vikings game. If you have looked over the past years with Harbaughs coaching (thus far in the NFL), theirs this tendency that players are taking out key players of the opposing side quite often. This is why I think the ACL injury has been so persistent lately, its not just harbaughs coaching it either, but they are prime examples in my book. |

John Clayton is the NFL's answer to The Cooler...
...the Seventh Fleet could pull into port after being at sea for six months and this man's image on a port entry billboard could cause mass impotence... ...it's fitting his check comes from ESPN... |

HGH
Bigger, faster, stronger is good if the joints can hold up to it. They cannot. |
