If ingram goes, PT has only just got healthy, if he gets injured again we have sproles and maybe khiry robinson who (so far) has looked good against a 3rd team defense, not first stringers |

Re: Interesting RUMOR: Giants-Saints in Ingram trade talks - RUMOR
Two young promising players with Cadet and Robinson.....Only one needs to really get in the rotation. The powers that be could run PT, Sproles and rotate in either Robinson or Cadet as needed.
What do we get in return though? We need something now. Although, I would take a second round offer for him in next years draft. It's been so long since we chose in the second round.........I'm not sure we would remember how to do it. |

Re: Interesting RUMOR: Giants-Saints in Ingram trade talks - RUMOR
Wow, you sit down and watch just ONE film with the wife and you come back here and BOOM, the trade block has gone mental
As I have been defending Ingram at length, I feel it worth mentioning that I personally would be delighted to trade him for the right package. A perfect package would include a warm body but if we could genuinely get multiple draft picks, whether conditional or not, especially if one of them was a 2nd (!!!!!) then I will drive him to New York myself! Oddly I don't think NYG puts him in a considerably better scheme than he is already in and he would be up against another projected stud RB. Do we have enough depth to cope with losing Ingram? At the end of the day I trust in Mickey and Sean. If they think Robinson and Cadet are ample replacements for Ingram and Ivory for this season and, perhaps, moving forward, then bag the picks and keep on building! PS - I would also love to see papz change his handle to c0ckmonger. Some outlandish statements sometimes backfire. May this be one of them for all the right reasons |

Correct? It's the Falcons o-line vs our d-front 7 to see if there is a hole and not Steven Jackson vs our front 7. |

@TheOak - In fact you may argue it is more difficult as there may be more mistakes being made so you need to think more on your feet. Maybe he made a more difficult situation look even easier.
That is MY fuzzy logic! |

Re: Interesting RUMOR: Giants-Saints in Ingram trade talks - RUMOR
The funny thing is, I have Ingram as the #3 RB on my fantasy football team, and as much as I hate to see him leave the Saints as a Saints fan, I would have a serious edge over every team in my league if my #3 RB was a full-time starter.
