stupid penalties... who`s fault?
How many drives have we seen this year by our "powerhouse" offense killed by stupid penalties like illegal motion and false starts? .... I dont have the stats in front of me, but I`m sure we lead the league in that catagory..... Now, if you agree that there is a pattern of dumbassness here, then who actually is to blame?
A) the professional football player, that should know that penalties are just as costly as turnovers? B) the coach, who has failed in making the team disciplined and sharp? C) the QB, that has failed in leadership skills to make his team members accountable for acts of dumbassness? D) All of the above? |

stupid penalties... who`s fault?
Yeah, the answer is C. That\'s it. It\'s AB\'s fault that Riley can\'t get the snap count, Gandy can\'t handle any type of pass rush and Holland can\'t run block. Of course, that\'s been the trouble all along. I\'ve been blaming it on the players. I see it now.
NOT The reality is the onus is on the players themselves and the coaches. You people cannot keep laying the blame on Brooks for everything that goes wrong with this team. It is as mornic as the announcers yesterday commenting over and over how it looked like the heat got to the team. If that were true the Cards would rarely lose at home. The truth is the Saints\' heads were down because they were getting their butts handed to them by some crap team AGAIN. I\'m waiting for some of you to start telling me why it was brooks fault that stecker and stallworth fumbled the end around reverse that got returned for a TD. Or how it\'s AB\'s fault that McCarthy calls for a screen on 3rd and 12 from our own ten when down by seven in the middle of the fourth quarter. Or why our fastest WR is running 5 yard crossing patterns late in the game and never went deep. I\'m waiting... |

I agree SR it\'s everyone\'s fault from Benson down to Houser...
But, to say... \"I\'m waiting for some of you to start telling me why it was brooks fault that stecker and stallworth fumbled the end around reverse that got returned for a TD. Or how it\'s AB\'s fault that McCarthy calls for a screen on 3rd and 12 from our own ten when down by seven in the middle of the fourth quarter. Or why our fastest WR is running 5 yard crossing patterns late in the game and never went deep. I\'m waiting...\" I am also waiting for the explanation of why we were down 7 in the fourth... Oh I know, AB fumbled in th endzone from the one yard line... And the offense picked up a hodling call the next time they were on the 1. |

Brooks is merely a product of Haslett.brooks can\'t lead because he hasn\'t been shown how to lead.He follows what his leaders do (meaning Haslett & staff). They don\'t know how to lead either.Haslett is still learning how to coach in the NFL.He hasn\'t figured out what works for him and what doesn\'t.It\'s too bad he had to use the Saints as his experiment so he could learn how to coach. Now the players are suffering from lack of leadership. They need a coach with a sense of direction.

BigBull, that is probably the most profound and insightful comment made about this team I\'ve read all day. Nothing truer could be said.

penalties r a failure of the coaching staff not to be handing out any form of punishment n also there is no discipline
