I was hoping Detroit would use him as a running-back and not just as another receiver ... he'll average close to 100yds a game if they continue to use him like that, just like he did in Miami,

Yeah, thanks. I was kinda' skeptical at first, but he'll win me over with more performances like that & by staying healthy ... Reggie & Joique Bell looked good enough back there yesterday, I may even predict wins against Green Bay and Chicago this year,

Just think how much better (if there is such a thing) Calvin will look when defenses will have to bring a safety down to cover Reggie out of the backfield.

They played better than even those of us who thought they would be ok thought they would play.

Is out defense going to be ok this season? Too soon to tell. We did very well against a strong offense with a lot of weapons... I would say that after week for they can be rubber stamped as good, bad, or ok... We have some injuries to deal with and we need to see how we play against teams that can plan... By week 4 there will be three game tapes out there to study and plan with.

From what I saw, the D looks like a more cohesive unit and are aligned with Ryan's scheme. They look like a team now instead of a bunch of players trying to figure out what the hell their supposed to do.

It looks like the D is ranked 17 (1 yard off 16) for now. That's about where I was hoping they'd be. This is for yards allowed.

Got a video up on NFL.com about our defense being "real" or not. not hard to look better when ur the so-called worst. just imagine when foster and tez gets back and our offense puts more pressure on the opposing team.
