Re: Khiry Robinson runs nasty
I like this dude...very physical and fast. Just hang on to the ball and we'll have no issues.

Re: Khiry Robinson runs nasty
Their D was gassed because of our offense, our scoring, our defense making their defense stay on the field 11 minutes more than ours.
They were gassed because of the Saints and not outside the game issues. That is big. Saints ToP 35:31 Cards ToP 25:29 |

The boy looked good out there. Let's see him do it next week too. When is the trade dead line?

Re: Khiry Robinson runs nasty
People... people...
A little perspective here.. Arizona's defense was not only gassed, since they have been on the field for 274 consecutive plays in the 2nd half, the game was over in their minds. And you could tell. All of Robinson's runs came right after the "seal the deal" INT, within 5 minutes of the end of the game, with the score 31-7. Prior to that series, the Saints were not able to move the ball on the ground at all. 1st half: -6 yds rushing. Before the last series, 66 yards, with 39 of those yards coming on 3 runs, and one was Drew's scramble, so the other run plays, 21 for 17. Prior to that series, the Cardinals' d-line lived 5 yards inside the Saints backfield. Of course, on that last series, all of the sudden the Saints o-line is able to push the Cards D back and create holes, and Robinson runs 4 for 38... yeah... So, really, not impressive, at all. And a quick edit to add: don't get me wrong. I like the young man. I like his style of running (who doesn't like a bruising RB?), but let's not give him any nicknames yet. And speaking of early nicknames, just a reminder, if you are not following the Jets game, half way through the 4th quarter: Code:

Re: Khiry Robinson runs nasty
I'd like to see what he can do from the start.
On one hand, Arizona's D was not fresh. However, on the other hand, EVERYONE knew when he lined up out there that we were running. There was no illusion that we were not trying to run out the clock... |
