However, on the other hand, EVERYONE knew when he lined up out there that we were running. There was no illusion that we were not trying to run out the clock...

By the same token, EVERYONE knew the game was over, the Arizona D completely stopped pressing, and there was no illusion that Arizona was going to mount a comeback, and I am pretty sure the Cardinals wanted the clock to run out so they could leave.

aT least he got SOMETHING, which is better than any of our backs have done. I was just happy to see a run period.

Nothing against Ingram but he just doesn't fit. I knew we had something in KR when I saw him during the preseason. Maybe we can get an offensive lineman or a pick in 2014

Yes let us hope his durability is nothing like Ivory

He did very well in preseason. He did well in garbage time today. I think he deserves a shot at prime time in a real game, to see how he does.

Out of all of his carries, the one I liked best was one where he only gained 3 or 4 yards. He didn't have a hole, but he cut back and wriggled through a little spot then he put his shoulders down and buried a linebacker. He runs the ball like he's mad at the world or something.

Precisely what people use as a reason for Ingram. Yet... Knowing, didn't stop him, and knowing didn't help the 3rd ranked rushing defense. Of course the "gassed" reason could be tacked on but Ingram ran against defenses in the 4th qtr also, albeit the defenses were not as good against the run.

That's the problem with rationalizing, sooner or later, someone gets it done in that same exact situation and the reason becomes pretty null.
