I thought Billy\'s point was that Preseason isn\'t necessarily a good indicator of regular season performance because different coaches have different goals wrt preseason play. The idea is this: if we\'re going to take a game and just work on base defense, then we\'re probably going to lose, though we\'ll get live practice on the defense. Also, in preseason, you may play to win (i.e. go for 2 instead of the single), instead of playing it safe (which could cost you games). You may try to get the ball to the new guys too much, etc. I think he\'s right about that.
Gator\'s point was that we looked bad. I don\'t really remember Billy saying anything about that. Looking bad, versus having a poor W/L in the preseason may be two very different things. |

Been busy clearing some space for some new guests ....... Hey Danno still sick of reading my negative posts ??? Or are they starting to make sense now ?? Maybe the Saints should go with their 3rd string Qb , it worked for the Bucs.... |

Boy do I feel dumb! I live in North Carolina, but am from NO and have been a Saints fan since the beginning. I\'m 90% scar tissue. But I\'ll admit, I believed the hype. So my girlfriend and I bought plane tickets, reserved a hotel room and bought two tickets to the Saints-Chiefs game. Jeeeez. Just shoot me now and put me out of my misery.

The only sunshine I see from this game is further proof that the problem with this team isn\'t Brooks, or Ruff, or Ambrose, or Deuce, or Horn or Howard or Allen or Hodge or Tebuckey or Bellamy or Boo etc...
The problem with this team is crystal clear. Head coach, defensive coordinator and offensive coordinator. I\'d say fire all three right now but I\'m convinced now that if they stay we\'ll get a better draft choice than if we canned them. Either way I can\'t see this team making the playoffs. Maybe if they all rallied around Haz but I don\'t think that\'ll happen. |

I will go along with the fact that it is not AB\'s fault....he can not control the fact that Haz keeps trotting him out there. I hope, for Haz\'s sake, that Benson is calling the shots on this one, because if he can\'t see that AB is never going to become consistent, then he doesn\'t belong as a head coach.
