Time to Panic??

After the last two games, I'm seriously beginning to wonder if this team can make it to 6 wins. The first half of the season is supposed to be the part that's all cream puffs... if we're getting beat like this now, what's going to happen in the second half?

This is the most undisciplined and just plain stupid team I've ever seen. How do you have a false start on a punt AND field goal? Deuce tore up the Bucs, but can't hold on to the ball. Still, you come out in the second half and go 3 and out. Deuce doesn't touch the ball. 2nd series, Deuce carries 4 or 5 times and picks up 50, 60 yards. We get inside the 5 and run 6 plays without Deuce touching the ball - but we score, so it's OK. Next series - 3 plays, Deuce touches it none, 3 and out. Great F-ing coaching.

Our O-line is so up and down it's mystifying. Brooks misses so many open deep passes it's nauseating. The WRs continue to drop the ball. And that's the GOOD news.

I can honestly say that in my life time, this is the worst Saints defense I've ever seen. They are flat terrible. Charles Grant is a freaking stud, otherwise there isn't a guy worth a sh-t on that side of the ball, and the coordinator is even worse.

Anybody think Haslett will make it through the entire season?

I don\'t know about Haslett, my guess is that he\'s here for the long haul. As for me,
I think I\'m past panic. I\'m more apathetic than anything. I didn\'t even scream at
the TV once today, I just sat back and shook my head. :icon_eyesroll:

Detillier has said repeatedly we\'d be very lucky to make 8 wins this year and that would require flawless play from the offense. It\'s pretty safe to say that we are serious underdogs against the Vikes and I\'m not sure we can count on Collins to throw 3 picks against our secondary.

Coming out of the bye San Diego isn\'t as bad as I thought they\'d be. After them, nothing looks easy for the rest of the season.

If the Saints win another game it will be a miracle.

Damn shame.

Hey, remember those old football toy games, the ones that had the little plastic players and when you\'t turn it on, the field vibrated and the little plastic players just skittered around any which a way. Well, that\'s what the Saints looked like most of today against the Bucs and certainly against the Cards.

Even Deuce fumbled the little felt ball. I was thinking someone adjusted those little \"feelers\" on the base of the players to have them spin circles.

This team is so inconsistent, and so poorly coached it\'s pathetic. My guess is Haslett will keep his job for the rest of the year, and then be fired. Watching the game today, I felt like blowing chunks of spew into my tv screen. Besides Grant, this defense is the worst I have ever seen from the Saints that I can remember. Can\'t stop the Bucs 3rd string QB, or can\'t stop the Cards 90 year old RB? It\'s disgusting! I\'m surprised I still have a voice after yelling at my tv for 3 straight hours.

Does anyone agree with me that Haslett should have went for it on 4th down instead of kicking a fieldgoal to make it 20-17?

With all the dissention in the ranks, anyone think that Haslett has lost the team all together? I mean, 2-3 doesn\'t end the season - but a) this is a real bad 2-3, and b) this team was already teetering on the edge - think they will believe in Haslett or each other again this season?
