we could easily loose our next three. n maybe win only three more. in that case i think theres reason for hope. if we get a new coach who can coach the peices r already there. we dont have to rebuild. we could be competitive under a new coach right away

If the right coach is available now, then Haslett should be fired now and bring on that coach right now. SFIAH |

if we keep playing the way were playing
I am so very disappointed in our loss to Tampa.... just like everyone else... but I just cringe everytime someone suggest that it is a positive if we lose so we can get a regime change and draft picks.... I understand the logic behind that, I just politely disagree.
I don`t think any reasonable person thought we would end up any better than a 1st round play-off team at best. I still think we should win more games than we lose, and I think Hasslet is doing the best he can with what he has, and we`re still better off than Tampa and Arizona even though they beat us. (not much..but a little) I have bashed players on our team just like everyone else, but I honestly think they want to win and they are doing their best. We`re...just...not....that...good. We were a 8-8/9-7 team going into the season.... anything more than that would be a fluke. Now let`s go beat the crap outa Minnesota, and we`ll feel better. [Edited on 10/20/03 by Saintsfan4ever] |

i would disagree that we r better off then tampa and especially not arizona. they r a better team then us despite the fact they beat us they r better. not more talented just better. they have hung in with everyone they played and they have played some good teams.
even besides that they have better coachs then we do. gruden has won a super bowl and wins everywhere he has been. dennis green speaks for himself. haslett went to the playoffs his first year wona game n has gone from good to bad. on top of that we keep taking steps back year in n year out. how do u start off 6-2 n end up 3-5. how r u 7-5 and have a real chance at the playoffs and ur team just bottoms out. this team looks terrible. and im sorry but im not willing to win 9 games if that means haslett satys. if we r npot going to the playoffs anyway then why would it matter if we win and in the end keep haslett. i disagree that haslett is doing the best with what he has. bobby taylor n troy vincent were both available in free agency. we went after neither. ted washington could have helped plug some wholes against the run. maybe we could have went after another d coord. venturi doesnt seem very good to me. all n all coaching is the biggest aspect of every team and ours doesnt do a very good job. three years its been the same problems and if they havent fixed them yet then well their not going to. there is not much positive u can say about this team. im sorry but thats just realistic. i hope this team wins every week. but the realization that this team will never be good under haslett is just to obvious to ignore. good post staying to stay positive i just disagree |
Your team stinks
