Patriots given extra timeout!!

Its like everyone expected us to go 16-0... I mean really We lost to a good team with a HOF QB and a HOF Coach yeah should have won we had are chance but hey we lost.... Its ok people Halo is right half yall are sounding like falcons fans with the crying...

I do not think any of us sound like Failclowns fans at all and I resent the implication.

IMO, the reason that fans are having such a problem with this loss is that it is hard enough to win an NFL game anyway, but when a team has to worry about the refs not getting the simplest calls right:
1. An official is standing at the line of scrimmage watching for offside and false starts
About Football Glossary - Head Linesman

2.An official is supposed to be watching the play clock
About Football Glossary - Line Judge

3. An official is supposed to be watching the QB
About Football Glossary - Referee

I will guarantee you that if it had been Brady that tried to call timeout before the clock ran out and then threw an interception, the officials would have either thrown a flag or awarded the Pats the timeout.

The Pats did get an extra timeout; courtesy of the New Orleans Saints and the crappy play-calling from our head coach!

After further review, I think refs should lose money everytime they blow a call. Hit them where it hurts and watch improvement.

anybody else notice the tackle one of our guys made, who threw the Patriot reciever out of bounds? This also stopped the clock. wouldve made a difference.

That was Lewis, they even kept the camera on him for a few seconds after he did it to see if he would figure it out. (Even the cameraman knew that was not the thing to do)

For some reason, pretty much our entire organization showed up Sunday with their head not in the game.. We should be used to this by now, it happens once a season.

I agree with that Oak just didn't seem like we were hitting on all cylinders. However in the end the game could have gone either way,
it's just the way it is sometimes. For the most part someone has to lose in the end.

I agree here. I think we definitely gave them a better game in their house then they would have in ours.
