Re: Jimmy Graham getting an MRI on his foot

This is the deal with Jimmy, if it is over his head he will reach "up" to catch the ball if, it is from the neck to waist and right at him he will not reach "out" to catch it... A lot of the missed catches for Jimmy are because he just didn't reach out with his 4 foot long arms and snatch it out of the air then pull it in, he lets it come to him and that gives defenders a chance to bat it down.

And yes I do blame him for that. The dangerous ones over his head he will stretch out for... Throw it to his face or numbers and he waits for it.

Is it just me or is it taking a long time to hear about the results of the MRI?

Re: Jimmy Graham getting an MRI on his foot

I was expecting to have heard something about the scan by now!

Whats going on?

Oh! and one other thing about the Saints v Pats game! One of the main reasons that the Pats were productive on offence was the fact that they used the "hurry up" so often.

Why don't we do that so as the oppositions defence doesn't get chance to settle??

Just a thought!

We have a bye week, Payton usually gives out his first injury report Wednesday game week. Doubt we hear anything until Wednesday of next week...

I feel the hurry-up offense can be a weapon and a disability at the same time. Several times a game, hurry-up teams "hurry-up" and go 3 and out.

The Saints thrive on ball control and time of possession. We string endless drives together, sometimes getting 1st down on 3rd and long. It's agonizing for opposing defenses and a little demoralizing.

I think the hurry-up is effective in certain situations when the defense is in a bad defensive scheme, but only with wrong personnel on the field. Running it out the blue is difficult even for seasoned pro teams because it makes for a mixed tempo drive, which eventually throws the offense off rhythm.

Because Payton likes to change personnel too much.

Graham's injury is not believed to be serious per our favorite source ESPN.
