Is this what having a shutdown corner feels like?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I guess he's been ok. I think when Mike Mckenzie was healthy, he was our best corner of the last couple decades. Lewis made me angry when he almost killed Kenny Vaccaro on a reckless attempt to hit a receiver ...

All in all though, he's way better than P-Rob. That's all I ever hoped from him.

It was an accident. It wasn't done deliberately.

I didn't say it was done deliberately. I said it was done recklessly. He seemed determined to just come in and make a huge hit, when it was completely unnecessary. As a result, he missed the guy and hit his own teammate. Those are the types of plays that end up in fines, when you don't look at what you're hitting.

Dude if it was Vaccaro, laying the lumber he would have done the same thing.... Surprised to see that even in a wreckless attempt that Keenan can hit!!!!

He did come from the steelers. Pretty sure he learned a thing or two from Polomalu, Clark and those guys.

And had it been Vacarro, my reaction would have been exactly the same. They need to keep their eyes on the ball, instead of just steam rolling toward a player without any idea as to what's going on around them.

I think you might want to jump in on practice sometime, and see
how fast things happen, and how many things you misjudge.

Choupique says none of us are qualified to criticize players.

You know everybody's a critic. Physicality should never be complained about.

As far as shutdown, he ain't that. There's been only 1...maybe 2 or 3 guys like that in history. He's good though. 89 on my madden scale.
