Man! The wheels are coming off left an right. Haslett, Loomis, Brooks all taking serious heat. It\'s going to be next to impossible for them to turn this season around. Of course, it kind of makes you feel like you were right all along huh Gator?

Comments like that from other league sources make you feel like the team is viewed as a very professional one, don\'t they? The term \'Mickey Mouse\' wouldn\'t apply here.

Loomis has pissed off NFL insiders?

BC changed his tune late last season and has since disappeared. The next greatest hits may be dedicated to someone else.

It\'s not hard to get caught up in the hype of this team. Hell, I did it this offseason. They are loaded with talent, and adding Craft, Young, and now MM without really losing anyone was big. I thought T-Rex hurt, but it seems Karney is the real deal. Add in a healthy Howard, Will Smith and Courtney Watson, a new D-line coach and WR coach, and this team SHOULD be better than last year. But they aren\'t. Ultimately, I doubt they will be better than 8-8, but even if they are, substantively it\'s the same old story.

I really believed in Haslett and Brooks in 2000 and through most of 2001. They made some decisions in those offseasons that made me raise my eyebrows, but I thought, why not give them a chance. The collapse of \'01 hurt, but in early \'02 I was starting to doubt myself in regards to JH. Then the second collapse happened, and Jim began stumbling and bumbling, not really answering questions. Finally, not playing Jake made me really question this guy\'s smarts. I mean, the whole AB/Jake thing aside, it\'s one thing to give Brooks the nod in one week - but when you see how poorly he\'s playing week after week, give Jake ONE series and see what he does. A half, something.

Then the wheels came off and things have only gotten worse. This team, which seemed so full of promise only two years ago, now seems like a pressure cooker ready to blow. It\'s one thing to not win - it\'s something else entirely to cause your players to start doubting you and their other teammates, to sour them on the franchise, etc. Losing does that to you, and the losses are IMO, ultimately Jim\'s fault. It has long been time for a change, I\'m just sorry it took so long for the owner to figure that out... if he has.

Who, I\'ve got to believe that Benson isn\'t totally oblivious about what is going on. He has to be steamed that he just signed Haz to an extension for results like this.
