this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; BOTTOM LINE: The new LA team needs an owner who will pay for his own stadium. Benson won\'t. Likely there aren\'t mny who will. The people of LA surely won\'t...

Saints best possible candidate for move to LA
god I hate this crap... The Saints are going anywheres the contract is thru 2009, We did not get the 2010 Super Bowl because NFL didn\'t want to have a Super Bowl in a non-NFL town if that happened then. If the contract was thru 2010 we probably would have been awarded that Super Bowl.

It\'s funny that anyone would assume that the fans would have a parade if the saints left town, seeing that the games are sold out every weekend. Can you imagine the ticket lines if they were playoff capable? It will be interesting to see what happens to the team when benson is gone though.
