The way the Refs Handel it is one watches the play clock, when it hits zero, he then looks at the ball. If the ball is still there, it's a delay of game, if it's in the process of being snapped they don't call it. So you have about a 1s delay where his eyes go from the clock to the ball.. pumpkindriver, ScottF and 73Saint like this.
