Being a member of the NFLPA if Lewis contributes to pay a fine it is considered compensation and has Salary Cap implications.


I suppose if he were a thinking man he wouldn't have had to flip and squeal.

Shouldn't be fined. The call could have gone either way. Personally I think we got away with one there, but its about time we get a break. As for Lewis; lay off the guy, its not like he is glad Brees got hit he is just frustrated with how the game has to be played now and you know what so am I.

I don't think he should be fined. IMO it was not malicious and just incidental. 10 years ago that hit would be legal the nfl has just pussified the qb position to the point where a player is better off if they don't touch the qb at all.

I don't hate Lewis any more than some person walking down the street I don't know. The guy was never convicted of anything and who am I to judge someone without evidence or believe he 'got off'.
