Re: "Saints can't win outdoors"
I imagine the Superdome is getting older and I will bet you at some point that they will replace the dome with an outdoor venue. Poor Saints fan having to brave that 50 degree element outdoors LOL

Won't happen anytime soon, they re-fitted the superdomes structure when it changed from louisiana superdome to Mercedes Benz

Re: "Saints can't win outdoors"
Seriously though there was talk a few years back about building an outdoor stadium. I think a few reasons that they stuck with the Dome was: money, location in the city, and hosting of Superbowls. Everyone loves coming to the Dome for a Superbowl since it is always good weather inside and it is right smack dab in the middle of a great tourist city. Hotels, restaurants and parties all close by.

Re: "Saints can't win outdoors"
It would never happen but if it did, we would just schedule all the winter warriors in September and see how they handle 98* and 95% humidity.

Re: "Saints can't win outdoors"
Well my friends it is freezing up here with a chance of snow next week so your Saints are going to need their Long Johns. I am not going to say much about who will win because these teams haven't seen each other in a while and the rosters have had quite a bit of addition and subtraction.

Re: "Saints can't win outdoors"
So given the difficulty of The Saints schedule, do you guys see this as a must win to get the 1 or 2 seed?

Re: "Saints can't win outdoors"
You can't blame them, we do play differently on the road than we do at home. It's undeniable that we are better at home than we are playing away. Now they would have you believe that we cannot win on the road at all, which is false. There is no team that plays better on the road than they do at home, its called an advantage for a reason. They need something to talk about all day and they really need something bad to say about the Saints so there you have it.

Our game is for #1 seed. Unless we were to get swept by Carolina (and we will not lose that prime time game next Sunday night), I think the #2 seed belongs to the loser of MNF next week. I see both our teams finishing 13-3, with the Seahawks losing to us and 49ers and the Saints losing @ Carolina |
