I agree ST,
We had some pretty bad drops in this game. Brees was by no means perfect in the game but the WR's didn't help out much. Absolutely no yards after the catch and a lot of 3 and outs. Very surprising to see this from a high octane offense in New Orleans - credit to the Seachickens.

Where in the hell was Lance Moore last night??

Where the hell has Lance Moore been all season. Something is very wrong there. I used to think he was awesome. Not any more. 57% passes caught is not good enough.

Is it possible that after having such a good season last year, the other teams are just focusing on him more? IDK, but IIRC, he damn sure made people sit up & take notice. Maybe it's just taking SP longer then usual to find a solution.

Just a theory off the top of my head, I welcome any/all comments or analysis as sometimes I just don't see the finer points of the game and am frustrated (as I'm sure Lance is) with his production as well. .

Re: No Excuses

Lance was a WR3 until Graham started getting the lions share of the targets.

As for lance, you need to ask Sean Payton why Meachem has only 9 snaps less. Stills has had more snaps and Pass Routs than Lance...
Colston's catch % is 71.2
Graham's catch % is 66.7
Stills's catch % is 65.7
Moore's catch % is 61.8
Meachem's catch % is 54.5

Drew still targets Graham for the majority of the passes.

Thrown At:
Graham 102
Colston 66
Meachem 22
Stills 35
Moore 34

I heard an interesting comment from Pat Kerwin yesterday: "The Saints passing game is either Long Strike or Check Down".
