Remember all of the things that were 'owned' by the Saints?
1-Never had a winning season 2-Never been to the post-season 3-Never won a post-season game 4-Never been to a Super Bowl. I know there are other teams that haven't been to a Super Bowl or won one, but bear with me; I am on a roll here 5-Never won a Super Bowl 6-Never won a road play-off game; (this too shall pass!!) |

Re: Saints bucket list
What window? We got a young talanted defence that will only get better the next couple of years, a QB with atleast 4-5 more good years, the best young TE in the leauge, a great prospect at WR in Stills and the savy veteran in Colston who will be around for a couple of more years atleast. Ain't no window closing here.

Re: Saints bucket list
#6 has already passed. Feb 7th 2009 we beat the Colts in Miami.
If it's not preseason, or regular season, it's playoffs. |

Re: Saints bucket list
Super bowl is a neutral site. Does not count. They were playing Stand Up Get Crunk after touchdowns, at the Super Bowl, fer cryin' out loud.
The real question is, can anyone name a Saints road win, outdoors, in December/January, against a tough, quality opponent, in the Sean Payton era? Anyone care to try? Outdoors. On the road. In cold weather. Against a playoff level team. Anyone? |

Re: Saints bucket list
When you look at things owned by the Saints now it's a totally different story. We own records that people chase.

Neutral is still a road game and road game concerns are usually classified as "not traveling well". |

Re: Saints bucket list
The thing that people are trying to say, is that the team (and especially Brees) does not travel well in December/January, OR in any kind of environment that is outdoors/cold/grass/mud/snow/rain/wind/sleet/snowballs from the fans etc.
