i'd be content. this is by far our best game of the year. i know its only oakland but if we could just play this way week in n week out i;d have more hope. our d has showed up. our o took a while but is coming on.
but ill say this our d has outplayed our o. n thats nice. but all n all weve played well. man if we could just get this every week. well im hoping dang it. im hoping this is the start of new things for the aints.

Hey 25, don\'t mean to insult, but what game were you watching. I was listening on the radio and it did not sound all that great. No sacks, AB\'s aim off at the goal line. Deuce still not able to consistently run the ball, I guess that\'s because of the blocking too. We were lucky to win this game and I think since we have a bye week next week someone needs to have a come to Jesus meeting with all the players and coaches.

If we play like that every week then good teams will beat us every time (see Vikes game). Only the fact that Oakland really sux saved us.

our d sucks so bad, thats what kept this game close... only thing good happen was a couple of turnovers... there poor QB messed up and we just got lucky. otherwise our d didn\'t do diddly poo

dude ur right that good teams r still going to beat us but we would be watchable. this wasnt like the arizona n tampa game. i think deuce is still hurt oh n we used less fullback sets. it is probally just blind hope that we could get it turned around. we didnt play well but we didnt look as bad as a couple of weeks ago. there were some bright spots. but u guys are more likely right. i was porobally blinded by emotion

The \"D\" was better but still sucked.........but I thought Fakir looked pretty good.......The O line did well in pass protection but sucked in the run(poor deuce).........Mike Karney is one to watch...he was \"layin the wood\" in the hole...too bad the rest of the line did\'nt join in.................I got heckled at the game, tailgaiting and on the planeride back.....but I just kept yelling...CHINNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!

The Saints could\'ve easity been blown out in this game, but I\'ll take the win any day of the week. Offense didn\'t start clicking until late 2nd quarter, but once the passing game got into a groove, the Raiders couldn\'t stop them. The Raiders defensive front line is a lot better than people give them credit for. They made our O-line look sick against the run. I did see a couple of mistakes by Deuce by not following Karney. I think once Deuce realizes what a beast Karney is, then he\'ll start following him a bit more. The defensive got good pass rush up the middle from Young and Green, but never could get to Collins. Grant was pretty much handled by Gallery all game long. The one time that I saw Grant beat him, Gallery held him. That guy is going to be a great tackle in this league. Will Smith was non-existent. The linebackers weren\'t there much either. Lots of blown assignments in pass coverage, and they pretty much looked lost out there. The secondary took a shot in the arm from Brown and McKenzie. Call Tebucky what you will, but it was his interception that IMO really was the turning point of the game. After the offense got rolling, Oakland looked like they couldn\'t stop the Saints on 3rd and long. I think a lot of their problems is their linebackers in pass coverage just like the Saints. In short, there is still a ton of improvement that needs to be made, but this is a start. Hopefully, a little more confidence will be built up going into the bye week and they come out guns blazing in Week 9.
