this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I really like his physicality and risk taking. He needs to work on his off coverage and his ball skills but so far he's steadily getting better and thats all that matters....

Re: Corey White Progression
Its amazing how much better players play when they're placed in a scheme that fits their skillset.
OK, maybe its not as amazing as it is common sense. Its also why Dallas sucks so bad. They have mostly 3-4 press personnel being forced to play in a 4-3 Tampa-2 system. Spagnola ring a bell? Even a caveman could have predicted that would fail. How come us average Joe's can see that yet highly paid NFL GM's can't? |

Rangy ball hawking safeties, a speedy MLB with excellent cover skills, a great front 4 that can apply pressure without blitzing, etc. Dallas actually has great personnel to run a Rob Ryan type defense. Oh the irony is just friggin hilarious. I wonder if Rob Ryan can even sleep at night with all the laughing he must be doing at Jerry Jones' expense. Daals fans must be fuming with hate towards Jerry. |

Re: Corey White Progression
Yeah, I kind of like the Claiborne idea. He's honestly a press corner anyway. He played that in college and now they're trying to make him into a zone corner. My only concern would be his availability. Injuries just seem to find him.
