Aaron Murray (ACL) threw 52-of-54 catchable balls at Georgia’s pro day on Wednesday, but NFL.com's Gil Brandt noted that "toward the end of the workout it appeared as if his arm got tired."
Murray's surgically-repaired knee "looked stable" in front of reps from 20 NFL teams. Included in that bunch were the QB coaches from the Cowboys, Jaguars, Chiefs, Saints and Rams. Interestingly, Jacksonville also sent its head coach (Gus Bradley) and general manager (David Caldwell), while St. Louis dispatched director of player personnel Taylor Morton. Brandt did clarify that, despite the fatigue, Murray looked good. "He’s a not-get-too-high or not-get-too-low type of player," the analyst wrote. "If there’s a run on quarterbacks in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, he could wind up being selected in that round." Source: NFL.com |

Actually like Aaron Murray and he's the reason I DON'T trust Mettenberger as he beat him out at Georgia... In truth, see the Saints picking prospects I'm not as high on; there's prospects I like better than they may take; and I'm hoping for a situation like last year with the injuries in that other teams' moves, selections force their hand and they end up with the best player for the team... Last year Saints FO nailed it in the draft, until the last pick at least; this season, I'm hoping for smoke screens and that they take Attaochu and wait for a guy like Aikens in the fourth-fifth round... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

But his selection hastened Roman Harper out of here and we got a premium player at a shallow position; have said as much... But the entire draft with maybe the exception of taking Rufus Johnson, a clear 43 Right Defense End baffled me when we clearly had need for linebackers and offensive line depth last season as well as the present... |
