i think we have to show endurance with boo and his fellow conwell . they have a lot of pressure . now they have to show if they are able to comply these high expectations.... and they have plenty of time until week 17 .

I don\'t think that Boo has been as big a disapointment as people make out. From what I\'ve seen, he\'s got good speed and size, he can create some room for himself, and he is an ok blocker. He\'s certainly been no worse in terms of hands than any of our other WRs.

He\'s a TE after all, and he does have to compete for passes with Horn, Stallworth, and Pathon (that on top of our \"Run as often as possible on first and second down, then go to three or four wides on third and long\" offensive strategy) - what do people want?

Obviously he\'s no Tony Gonzalez or Shannon Sharpe, but I don\'t think people should write him off just yet.

Boo\'s still got time to show us that he def. was not a one year wonder. That kid can catch. Problem is, you don\'t exactly look to your TE when you are playing catch up or hurry up.

Boo could still use some work on blocking skills. But then he is still learning the position. If we could finally get a solid game out of both sides of the ball, everyone on our team will look good. Including Boo.

Still, in the interests of safety, I\'m not holding my breath on that one.

Conwell has been playing better than Boo this year. Conwell drops as many as he catches. Boo drops MORE than he catches.

Considering the poor production, why not give Lamont Hall a start and see if that motivates Boo and Conwell to get it together. Lamont blocks. Lamont caught a TD pass last week. That\'s good enough for me.

i dont think that lamont hall is the salutary , we have still good other options in our 3 WR and in Deuce. Not many teams have so many good receivers , even if Donte Stallworth looks more like clifford franklin in the last season . but he is now a bigger threat , they all seems to concentrate and stopped playing backgammon in the locker room.
we shouldnt yet line up lamont hall , we still arent dispondend . hall is one of the TEs which were only drafted because of height and weight, the other guys ( boo and ernie ) could catch two.... as a rule

My point is that the 3rd receiver can\'t effectively block LBs on running plays. That\'s one of the jobs of the TE.

But they haven\'t. Neither has produced. Neither has been a threat down the seam that they were supposed to be. Neither has been consistent. So why not give Hall a shot? If for nothing else then to make it clear to Boo and Conwell that they are not guaranteed playing time if they can\'t produce on the field.
