10-5

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; ATL could get the win.. they are at home. I still like the opportunity to go on the road and win in the playoffs. It's unlikely, but if we won it all from the 5th seed how awesome would that ...

I'd like to point out that there was plenty of groaning last year about play-calling, especially WRT overly predictable plays when Ingram was in the backfield. Payton has shown a habit of getting too cute though, but Carmichael did put up yards and TDs.

To me our O-line needs help, they need to give Brees more time to throw and our recievers need to get off the line much, much better. Our O is not the juggernotts we once were, just face the facts. Our D has played well enough to keep us upright most of the year. Payton will fix this next season, 2011 Saints O was scary, 2013 Saints O is just scared. I'm personally glad to have made it this far. Oh, I think Stills is going to be a stud next season, we will need a reciever in the draft to complement Stills and O-line help is a must.

Atlanta will not roll over on the Panthers... They do not like Scam as much as the Saints dislike him! They would love to be the ones who knock the Panthers out of the Division title....but the way the Panthers are playing defense it is going to be very hard for Atlanta to get a win... The Saints actually outplayed the Panthers today so it was a good try... They just got hot there at the end and that is what counts. We will probably see tj again in the second round of the playoffs. Payton needs to run the ball more and play like there is no tomorrow... Which there isn't if you lose in the playoffs. It is going to be very hard for any NFC team to go into Seattle and win a playoff game there!!!next year we get Seattle at home during the regular season!!!!good game... Just came up short today!

2 losses..
1 game left regular season.
We just need to get hot at the right time. 5th and 6th seeds can win SuperBowls.
Go Seahawks over Cards.

Re: 10-5

Sadly this game came down to the final 1:54 where just like the New England game, the Saints could not run the clock out. If we pick up a first down... the game is over. I did not read through all 8 pages of comments, but again to me this is not on the defense or Malcolm Jenkins total whiff on a potential sack of Newton on the TD pass to Hixon. The defense never should have been put in the position they were in.

No matter how poorly Armsted played, which he was not good. This offense should not have as many problems as they've had inside of two minutes trying to run out the clock.

I don't think there is any other way to say it... this as bad a loss that this team could have, considering the situation.

It was a bad loss. It was a costly loss. Is all hope lost on the 2013 season? Of course not. But, the fat lady is humming.

Before this season started the last 5 weeks were identified as going to be damn rough.

People now seem surprised that they were rough.
