Perspective
Lets be honest. The effort was there yesterday and we lost in the last seconds of the game on the road in rough conditions. Lets not jump off a damn cliff yet.
If you take a deep breath you will start to feel a small momentum shift in our favor. We will win next week, there is simply to much pride on this team. All we need is a seat at the table. Last 3 SB winners were 9-11 win teams with no first rd bye. Our D can take this team places. Yes, even on the road. |
Re: Perspective
And 2 of our road losses were helped by BS calls, New England and Carolina.
I have no doubt whatsoever that we can win out. We're as capable as any team in the league. |
Re: Perspective
It's nice to hear some optimism. Everyone is posting ****in suicide messages. Hell even my old man said some **** that blew me away. Lol. Everyone just settle down!!!!

Re: Perspective
As fans, we can't go into the playoffs, with blinders on.
For whatever reason, our Saints haven't been able to win road playoff games. Since we weren't able to win HFA, we are going to HAVE to play on the road in unfavorable conditions, i.e cold, wet, etc. We have our coach back, we have the personnel, we have the plays, we just need to play Saints football!! I hope the teams that we will meet keep the press clippings about the Saints not being able to win a road playoff game handy, so they can re-read them in the off-season!! |

Re: Perspective
At least, for me, every win here on out will be a pleasant surprise, rather than each defeat a shattering loss.
Its more peaceful anyway, and I'll live longer. Or so I've been telling myself. |
Re: Perspective
Yesterday was a heartbreaking loss... not a "the world is ending" type loss.
It honestly could have gone either way. |
