We made Carolina forget all the bad Cam did on Sunday. Overthrows, underthrows, misreads, poor decisions.... He was terrible.

Watching the Saints is kind of like watching your own child play sports. You believe in their potential to the point of blind fanaticism. And when I leave my child to a coach who sometimes (in my lofty parental opinion) doesn't completely maximize their potential to win, it rankles me.

Usually at that point I realize I'm sitting in a crusty sports bar with cheap beer watching a game that I am in no way personally affected by other than the price of my next jersey. And then I ask why the hell do I get so bent out of shape when a coach who knows more about football than I ever will in 10 lifetimes doesn't do what I want him to do. WHY GOD, WHY

Yes, all you have to do is remember what it was like being a Saints fan during this time of year (pre-Brees) to appreciate the different kind of tension that we deal with now.
