And to think of how many starters and players that Ryan brought in got injured before it all even started

Don't get paying Colston (who is worth it) that kind of money and not using him?!? Again, with Stills' development, Moore's price may be too high with upcoming contracts to get done (Graham)... Saints must really like Griffin to have kept Rams away from him; so unless Murray is going to supplant Drew, or some other freakish talent falls in the draft, I don't us taking anything but DB, LB, and OL... And you're right, it's a no brainer that we've got definite commitments to make to the offensive line in the draft... |

In Defense of Georgia QB Aaron Murray: Why the "Choke Artist" Talk Is Unfair | Bleacher Report I'm not advocating taking Murray with an early pick, but given his situation(big injury), if he's still there on day 3, it could be a solid investment. I like Griffin and all, but it doesn't make him Drew's eventual successor. Competition is healthy. |

Re: Final season stats for defense
I'd like to see the focus in these 3 areas
OL: Not much needs to be said here. It can not stay in it's current shape. I'm fine with looking towards armstead and letting him mature but we need to get more o-line pieces in case he doesn't work out LB:This is tough because I like our guys but something has to be done about the lack of speed. I don't know if we want them to maybe cut some weight or get new LB's but their pursuit speed and coverage skills leave a lot to be desired DB's: It's time to clean a little house. Harper, greer and possibly jenkins should be gone. We don't need to spend heavy but we need a little more speed and depth in the secondary Everything else is a bonus. I trust that we can do like we always do for offensive weapons and get some no names. |
Re: Final season stats for defense
i turned off the TV disappointed in the defense
no pass rush at all but my biggest concern was the lack of discipline they showed. i guess they did not learn from the seattle game. reckless aggressive play will get you burned. philli will eat us up if the defense plays that way next week. that blame rests squarely on the coaches. |
