It's smart people stuff, like brain science.

But you don't have to be an Einstein to know that turning the ball over a lot is a sure way to lose.

Like Danno pointed out, we seem to turn the ball over a lot more on the road this year.

Great result, and we all have to respect Drew's vision.
However, up 18 with the ball in the red zone, that could have ended up being the dumbest and most disastrous play of a season filled with them

Spread em 4 and 5 wide and attack the DBs. Their pass D is junk. Protect drew and pressure foles and we win.

Who is staying back to help protect Drew?

Whoever is in the backfield. Hit some short stuff early to get in rhythm and keep them on their heels. Then go for the kill shot and take the crowd out of it.

I could care less about balance if we're winning. But on the road, running the ball effectively is how we neutralize wind, cold, bad weather, crowd noise, etc.
i hope we give Philly a strong dose of Khiry, PT and MI, but I just dont think it'll happen.

185 yards rushing tonight. I rest my case!!

The Eagles have the #10 rush Defense and the #32 passing defense.

Saints Rushing yards +100 yard games
Dallas - 242 W
@New England - 131 L
@Panthers 126 L
Cardinals 104 W
@Falcons - 103 W

Obviously if rushing was key to winning we would have beat the Patriots and Panthers.

Well, the difference in this win against the Eagles seemed to be the run game. I mean we had turnovers so.....

But, to me, the genius was on the D. We stopped Shady -- made Foles beat us. He couldn't -- even without much of a pass rush -- but what do I know -- except in Rob I trust.

I have a question -- who was this O-Line that showed up tonight -- and where have they been all season?

We run when we can and there doesn't seem to be any predictability
on that. We ran against Dallas, Carolina, and now the Eagles but couldn't against a lot of teams. There were literally games where 3/4 of our rushing attempts were tackled 1-2 yards behind the line of scrimmage.

Drew had a completely different second 1/2 than the first. He has always been the key to a victory.

He settled down in the second half and started taking what they would give him instead of trying to force passes like he did in the first half.
