this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Pete has not called plays for a whole season yet. He is isn't proven... and the teams that are looking for a proven HC ready to roll and win....

"Outlier rule - always be open to new ideas" Some NFL owners are looking for innovative coaches (which I think Pete is) & one that is open to new ideas. Mike McCarthy and Mike Tomlin come to mind. |

 Fans only swallow 1 outside of the box losing coach in a row. Chud - First HC Job -Rookie Schiano - First HC Job -Rookie Schwartz - First HC job Frazier - First HC job Shannahan - Vet Ill give Chud the benefit of not having more than one season to do what he wanted. |
