My guess is he was furious about it.

Costing your team 15 yards is bad. Costing you team 15 yards because you're performing a comedy routine after a TD is dumb.

No way Payton was fine with it.

Lance should learn his moves from Marcus Colston

pride, class

Obviously some people here have not heard the angry "you think you're worth 15 yards?" comment by Payton from the Mic'd Up segment they did on him a couple of years ago. No way Payton was fine with it, or encourages it among his players -- like Danno said, I'm sure he was furious. "Swagger" is something entirely different, too - that's a Brees thing that Brees always talks about, it's like a quiet confidence type of thing, or knowing you're a complete badazz ball player, knowing that your stuff is gonna work and you're gonna get results and big plays, it's not a fun or exuberant thing. TD celebrations is not what they are talking about when they talk about swagger.

Exactly. Why most of our team has respect around the league and a few guys don't. Same was for a guy like Barry Sanders. Likely the best in the league at his position and respected by all but didn't feel the need to act like a 5 year old.

I am very tired of the the post 1st down and post TD celebrations. Especially ones that cost us penalties. Selfish and stupid.

Not a fan of the dry hump dance! I like Lance Moore but he is really the only "celebrator we have. I guess I need a sense of humor too. To be an even bigger buzz kill it is a really selfish act to limelight yourself at the expense of the penalty. Not trying to be uptight it is just stupid.

I guess he wasn't ... That's why he mentioned it in the post game comments... Oh wait.... it was a blow out......What about a comedy routines in pre - week interviews or even funny interviews after the games over..... Let's not have those either.... Let's be a completely stoic franchise while were at it. Shawn is a jokester himself... this week alone... The new jumpsuits we got are gonna help us on the road, or making reference to Chip Kelly's weight... If you wanna be completely honest, the way yall are talking maybe he shouldn't have said that because that could be motivation for the Eagles.....Go Back, if you don't believe me. whistleman comments after the Tennessee game a few years ago... Do your job right.... and have a good time while doing it!!!

Hilarious.... Marques Colston couldn't be Lance Moore any more than Lance Moore could be Marques Colston.... And i'll bet if you ask Colston.. he appreciates having Lance on the team keeping the fans involved... something he has never wanted to do.. or should have to.

Let me take you back, Ravens game....In Baltimore...Pass to Colston corner of the endzone.... Colston drops the pass but we still score the TD... He didn't dance cause we were down in the game... TD Lance Moore!!!

It's funny how because I don't act like I'm 106 yrs old on the field that somehow that would put me in the category of being prideless, or classless. Yet when there's a team trip to a hospital...Im somehow in the picture. Or a Saints throw a benefit for an organization who needs help or even my own personal yearly basketball game to raise money for a charity goes unnoticed.... #wakeup!!!

You know what, your right.... Swagger is not about TD celebrations. But when you have put the time in... done what you are supposed to do in the classroom, in practice, and then your number is called and your play is successful, you deserve to celebrate... Even if your celebration is a little bit more boisterous than just handing the ball to the referee... ala Drew brew Brees rushing touchdown dunks!!!

Some people need to take wins more seriously. They looked like fools, nothing hilarious about that.

I'm a fan of winning football games, not risking a loss so a couple of show-offs can perform a choreographed dance routine.

If you have to have all of that show-off "look at me I just scored my 2nd TD of the entire season" crap perhaps pro-wrestling is a better form of entertainment for you.

Like you said, "This is football"...nothing more, nothing less.
