I am not buying in to the conspiracy.
They give up 290 passing yards a game and played a crap schedule against backup QB's from Dall, Minn, Chi, & GB. It doesn't seem like they are getting a lot of calls waved off. |

Re: Outside of the weather and protecting Drew... this is what scres the **** out of me
I think the problem with the refs is that, if they're not calling PI, or personal fouls, the advantage goes to the team that figures out FIRST that the refs are calling it loose or not calling it at all that day. THEN the other team finally figures out that they can get away with it, they they do it too obviously or too much, it turns into a brawl or a mugging, and then THEY (the second team) get the call against them.
That's honestly what I think has kinda happened a few times to the Saints with the refs this season. Their D is slow to figure this stuff out, or they're not properly preparing for the crews. I know there are some teams and coaches who prepare for the refs and give reports and advice about the specific officials, to the players, telling them they tend to call lots of this or that, certain things to look out for, what they can get away with, or what or avoid. No idea if the Saints do this or not. But they seem to have been on the slow end of things a couple of times. Plus if you look sloppy doing it, the refs will call more stuff on you, EVERY TIME. |

lucky mofo.. but getting to the topic I'd be more worried about calls not happening on the last drive or last minutes. We've been screwed already by refs at the last minute.

Forget the PI calls -- our WR need to FIGHT FOR THE BALL every play.
