Re: One and Done?
I love our defense but where are the turnovers, I know it was vs the least intercepted person in the league but we would be so much more dangerous with a few turnovers.

Interesting. I was listening to him on WW One before the game and he was one of a very few people giving us any real chance to win.

I don't know about slaughtered, but, I agree if the Saints turn the ball over twice against the Seahawks and don't get any back, it will be a lot tougher.

Re: One and Done?
Any chance we give Jay Richardson another call? If he's out we could use the depth...

Re: One and Done?
Long road ahead. No matter how happy I am (and that's EXTREMELY happy), there's NO way am I jumping around tonight and mocking people who expressed concerns about this team all year long. We won by two points on a FG at the very end of regulation. That was kinda tight, a squeaker, if you didn't notice.
If we'd won by 17+ and Brees was on the bench with eleven minutes left in the 4th quarter, then the doomsayers who said we'd lose, might rightfully be cuckolded and made a fool of and run out on a rail, they'd deserve to be ridiculed. But it's a long road ahead and all games on the road. The same problems that have existed all year, happened tonight, but Philly couldn't capitalize on them. Two turnovers resulting in big swings of points -- you do that in Seattle or Carolina or Green Bay, and it is not likely going to end the same way. No amount of cheesy mac or Popeye's can bring you back from that. |

One and Done?
SaintsBro.....
There is a huge difference between "expressing concern" about stopping McCoy, or about Foles being a damn good QB.... and running around whining like a little b1tch proclaiming to be the second coming of Nostradamus and KNOWING we can't win a playoff game on the road. The latter covering everyone from fans to the media darling "experts". There is more than one type of bandwagon but only one type of person on them.... Someone that wants so desperately to look like they have a clue. They are never actually right, they just guessed luckily. I give a 1/2 assed pass to the media, those jack offs are paid to fill a void and need to find something to talk about..... Not to fans that haven't a clue however. Saints fans that run around saying the same exact crap as Falcons fans about the Saints will be treated as such. You see us as barley winning, I see us as playing poorly for 1/2 a game, losing 2 starters on defense and STILL winning the game. We are not a bad team that plays good sometimes. We are a great team that plays poorly sometimes. Huge difference. BTW..... What was the margin of victory in the 2009 NFCC Game? :P |
