Re: Eagles’ Jason Peters: Saints ‘got lucky and beat us’
lets see lucky?
hell we could not get a pass rush for life of us with our DL and they had all day to throw. secondary did a great job. rush defense held yet another top rB in the NFL in check also secondary depth tested. they did ok and that about it. they did not allow any really quick scores and kept everything in front of them. made philli eat the clock. SP then stuffed the ball down the eagles throats and the OL took over. drove 5 min ate up the clock and kick the winner with no time left. if thats luck i will take it. philli could not stop us despite the injuries. accept the fact you aint all that yet. see ay next year. rest up |

Yeah, other than Smith, Greer, Vaccaro, Coleman, and 8 others D guys getting hurt, our kicker and LT sh**ting the bed, PT being out for the game, and playing one of the toughest schedules this year, we have been lucky
unlike Philly, that had ZERO O-line injuries and whose most significant loss was actually a blessing |

Yep. I was asked how was the game. My first words were I think that was one of the most complete Saints' games I have seen in a long while.
