I am ready for a new era of QB for the Saints... yes I know Brees has been great for us, but for some reason I grow tired of him.

I know its crazy and he is great (at home). However, he can't play outside and can't throw the deep ball at all. We need to face the facts he is getting old and has a surgically repaired throwing shoulder. As the season went on he got worse and worse. He will be our guy for the next few years and we will be an avg team because of his contract. So yes, I am excited to see what comes next because I don't think he wins another SB... just my opinion.

I don't agree totally but I understand what your sayin. This has Def not his best year.He does have a bunch of plays that make you just say wtf was that. I want to think its just him trying to hard to make things happen at times

This is very, very hard for me to say; but I am also worried about Drew. There were too many underthrown balls this year. He never had the strongest arm to begin with and if that surgically repaired shoulder starts to go, it could go downhill VERY fast. And his surgical-like precision just didn't seem to be there.

I really, really hope I am wrong. Drew is my all-time favorite football player (except, perhaps, for Rod Woodson) and I want few things more than to see him win a second ring.

Hopefully we can keep the running game working so Drew doesn't have to throw quite so much, and get some protection in the form of a better O-Line, and he will be resurgent next year...
