We depend on Drew too much...Going into the off season..is it safe to say this O line will be back?If so I like what Armstead brings to the table with his run blocking..It's time to turn Drew into a game manager and commit ourselves to being a physical offense again.

Re: The official ***** and moan thread
Earl Bennet just called him the most overrated player in the NFL, honestly, he might be right.

Re: The official ***** and moan thread
I put a lot of this lost on Payton. Brees started off shakey but got better when payton just let him play instead of calling endless screens. Defense played tough and did their job. They should be even better next year. As far as I'm concerned Carmichael needs to be the playcaller moving forward.
With all that said, looking forward to next year. Who Dat! |

Everything on the offensive side needs to be reevaluated.

I think Drew was hearing footsteps the Seattle D is a handful. That noise in the stadium is off the hook. The D played well today tremendous improvement there. Someone has to win and the breaks were not on our side today. At least we are in the second round of playoffs. I can remember the days when we used to win only a few games a season.

Re: The official ***** and moan thread
I put this loss directly on the Seahawks defense. They're smothering. They've got a damn good team.
Congrats to the Seahawks they played great. That being said.... The Saints took that damn good team to the last play of the game, in their house, in the cold and the rain. The Saints have nothing to be ashamed of. As far as the season went... I'm sorry to see it end. It seemed we had one pleasant surprise after another. This year, we've found that we have two guys in the top ten in sacks, a shut down corner, a power running game a new speedster receiver and a LT that could be a long term stud... Last year we had the worst defense in the history of the NFL and a losing record. This year, a top 4 defense and a playoff spot. That's an incredible turnaround. 7 of the projected starts on defense went on IR, yet they were still one of the best units in the league. Those are the marks of a great organization. We may be down today but in my humble opinion, the future looks very bright my friends. |

On the big 3Rd down and 3...When Wilson hit Baldwin did any body notice the missed false start on Seattle? I counted at least 2 in the 4th quarter they missed

Re: The official ***** and moan thread
Simple enough. Too many mistakes for a playoff game.
Delay of game, 18 yard punt Bush's PF, laces wrong, drops, and so on. Had we played marginally well we would have won. We didn't. |

Re: The official ***** and moan thread
The window for a legit Superbowl run is small and this year i feel like we just gave away too many golden chances that do not present themselves very often!
It will bother me that like week 5 or 6 i said our kicking game by the end of the year will directly cost us a game, noted we released GH but tell me today wasn't that day...2 mised FG's and lack of confidence in the kicker cost us golden opp...and points vs Seattle! Sick of Graham getting mugged without getting a single freaking call..if that was T Gonzalez or Gronk.....how many free yards you think we would've had! Having said that...dude..Man up, your a beast but you play soft under pressure! Last but not least...NFL please fix the REFS...this is BS...no way will i blame them soly for our loss//We had our chances...BUT..ticky Tacky calls at crucial times are rather convenient ( See the Brady Game winning TD for THE prime example ) Then one teams allowed to MUG all day, and we get a OFF PI call against us when we fight back a little...SERIOUS?? OK, I'm done, Than ks Boys, had a Blast, Ready for next year already! |
JENGA....I Win!
