this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; What I can tell you about the play is I never have seen an official whistle the play dead when it was a forward pass, usually a flag thrown and play continues. Maybe for better it was whistled? I dunno. ...

What I can tell you about the play is I never have seen an official whistle the play dead when it was a forward pass, usually a flag thrown and play continues. Maybe for better it was whistled? I dunno.
I have never seen it a 10 second run off either. |

I don't think so, there were a few Seahawks on that side of the field. If they were trying for the River City Miracle, I thought Colston had some room to move around. He should have run with the ball a second or two more to attract some defenders to him and away from other Saints. |

No, he wouldn't have scored. If you look at the play you will see something that our D lacks, discipline. Seattle's D accounted for everyone on the field and stayed with their man or their assigned zone. Cadet might have made 5 yards if the lateral was legal.

The reason Cadet ran in front of Colston is because they had a guy covering him. I watched the play again and there was a CB right on top of him.
