I'm not saying he can't grow..but when you know they coming at you and you still don't stop it...It has to be fixed..Roman Harper is another story... Corey White has to make the plays Tracy Porter made for this team in clutch moments before you diss a Nfcc and SB hero.

Re: Corey White

Here's my view. Jason David was awful. Let's not forget where we were. Also in the pecking order white would have been a sub package dime back. So while we calling this guy bad I'm not going say he is awful. I saw an avg cb who was a mixed bag. Did good and bad which should be expected by a guy who goes from playing 20 snaps to 50 over night. And that isn't being a homer. He was a depth guy who was forced to start. He has a place in the league and on this team.

He played because of injuries.. Not because he was anyone's first choice.

But everyone can agree Corey White needs to improve at locating the ball..If not he's another liability.I don't wanna hear about what round we got him..It's plays you HAVE to make.Dominick Hixon..That one play cost us Homefield and,who didn't locate the ball..Improve or move on..

Truethfully, that was on Ryan calling the blitz leaving him on an island, he could have givin' him help over the top. White is really good in the slot but needs improvement as a #2. I 'm sure he has learned alot this year and will be a better player next season. I remember the look in his eyes when he took over the #2, a deer in the headlights, now not so much. Can he improve? I think so!!

There is a lot of improvement that he can make. Corey White wasn't drafted to start, he was drafted in the 5th round in 2012 and the only reason he has started is because of injury. White has not had 2 seasons in the same defensive scheme in the NFL. Give him time.

Look at Junior Gallette, it has taken him 4 unimpressive years to start but once he had the time under his belt he is a pillar of our defense.

If Ryan Griffin had been told in week 5 " Drew is hurt" your in the drivers seat, he would have preformed as well as Corey White did this season, which is no reason to call for their heads.

Re: Corey White

I think White has a short memory, and that's important for a CB.

This is me saying I think he's going to be a good player.
