WR is no where near our most glaring need.

Re: Crazy Theory of Mine
Like Oak said, Drew already has enough trouble seeing over the line. If his head goes back any further trying to look down field it will roll right down his back.

Re: Crazy Theory of Mine
Yes, Gonzalez, Gates, and Graham played college basketball, but none of the three was anywhere a star. Gates was the best, but played against MAC talent.
They were/are NFL stars because they worked hard and learned the position. Not sure how being a skinny d-league BB player translates to running routes and timing patterns, and not sure that we are in crisis mode at WR, but ... |

Re: Crazy Theory of Mine
I'm just saying a Derek rose or Russel Westbrook can't be a bad idea as a wideout... 6"3 + in football shape around 225 running well under a 4.4 , immense leaping ability , cat like quickness can change direction at the drop of a dime ... Yeah I must be insane for even drawing the comparisons and thinking that could ever work ...
And I like how you took the picture of the skinniest center ever and compared it to a thick lineman ... I was thinking more along the lines of big baby Davis and Randolph ... 280+ pound guys , guys that can block box out and move , which translates into pulling and more eifficient blocking ... The eagles don't have the biggest o line but they led the league in rushing by using athleticism rather than being fat ... From what I can tell being athletic and solid is better than being big fer nuthin ... |

NFL is a lot more physical and greater chance of injury. NFL pays a lot less on average. 2012 numbers AVE NBA salary 5.15M AVE MLB salary 3.2M AVE NHL salary 2.4M AVE NFL salary 1.9M Why would any NBA player with a promising career in basketball come to the NFL? Besides... BB players are puzzys. |

Re: Crazy Theory of Mine
Well...
My son pretends to play basketball in the local church league (high school level). The first time I saw his team play, I jokingly told their pseudo-coach "hey coach, you got your left tackle playing center", and not only does the kid (and I use that term loosely) looks like a left tackle, I came to find out he's indeed a left tackle for his HS team. Kid has potential, I tell you. And seriously, tell me it'd have been too much of a stretch to convert Shaq to o-line. |
