Saints Offense has to get faster next year
Sean Payton's offense is based on speed at the skill positions - not a big surprise. When we had Devery, Meachem and Bush, we scared opposing defenses. Not anymore. . It seems like our receivers had problems getting open this year, especially against the more talented DB's. That used to not be a problem. Looking back, losing Joe Morgan early was huge - he was shaping up to be our deep threat - hopefully he can come back healthy. A more experienced Kenny Stills will help, as will a healed Jimmy Graham. We really have no "burners" at RB, but Sproles is quick and KR is fast enough. Do the Saints start moving more towards a run-first or balanced offense or do they bring in new personnel at the skill positions to regain our championship form? It will be interesting to see what Loomis & Payton do w the draft and FA to address this.
