"Loomis, speaking at the Senior Bowl, said he would be in favor of adding another playoff team, and has been for several years. Expanding the postseason field from six teams in each conference is under "serious consideration," according to Goodell.
"I just like the fact that we have more events. I think these playoff games are great events for the city, the communities that they're in. I think it's good for the organization," Loomis said.
