I will make it really quick and painless.

Which one of the following are you ready to tag as mediocre or an unsuccessful runningback?

Darren Sproles
Pierre Thomas
When i say lynch would be unsuccessful i probably should have worded it better, allow me to rephrase

lynch is a back that needs 250-300 carries in order to be used to his full potential and warrant his signing

That would not happen in our offense and lynch is not as versatile as either PT or sproles

Lynch isn't a RB that needs 250-300 carries or versatility, he is a RB that earns those carries. You don't feed him in hopes it makes something happen, you feed him because he makes something happen.

If you have a Lynch, Deuce, Peterson, McCoy... Your not forcibly feeding them in hopes that you might see something wonderful. You know its coming and you don't have to wait until the 3rd Qtr for them to establish the mythical rhythm to see it.

BTW, Lynch had 37 receptions, that's more than lance Moore and Kenny Stills he is versatile enough.

And we wouldnt be able to give him those 250-300 carries in our offense so he would be underutilised

Sure we would. Denver is a pass first team as much as the Saints

Passing Att
Payton Manning 675
Drew Brees 651

Rushing Att
Denver 461
Saints 391

Lynch would get his 240 (What Moreno got) , Ingram would get his 100, Sproles/Robinson/Cadet/PT (which ever we keep) gets 50.

Sean Payton runs the ball when we can run it.
2009 - 461 4.5 YPC
2011 - 431 4.9 YPC

Since 2007 in all seasons that we ave less than 4.5 YPC under Sean Payton we had less than 390 ATT, in all Seasons over 4.5 YPC we had more than 430 att.

He looks at productivity not gross numbers. The better we run, the more we run.. Not vice versa.
