okay man...i can see your point...sort of..but..these guys you speak of are professionals..they have to evaluate a teams needs on a weekly basis..making plans..counter plans...filling in spots..thats what they do...if owners were totally sold on these guys last year..they would be coaches..period...there sold now..and you can bet one if not both will be gone...these guys watch film religiously..they know what teams have what strengths and weaknessess before they ever step foot on the field...it doesn\'t take them long to evaluate talent...or see what needs to be changed..they make mid game shifts all the time...so to say that wouldn\'t have ample time to evaluate i team i think is wrong... all these guys do is football..a couple of weeks is more than enough time to work out a contract...if both sides want it to happen..and that just wasn\'t the case .. i find it hard to believe that there is not enough time to hire a coach from the time the superbowl ends , to the time the draft starts...cuz f.a. lasts all year..and trades last till week 6 ...but..regardless..benson will likely tighten up on the old money jar..and we will be left with haslett...all together..i think we all are just frustrated with the way things have went for us the past few years..and we should be...but i really don\'t think anyone of us is entirely right..or wrong..myself included [Edited on 10/11/2004 by shadowdrinker_x] |
