Drew Brees
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; does anyone object to signing Drew in the offseason? i only say this because of my concern over AB's backward pass last week. and, if we dont sign him who will? Miami? Oakland?...

I read somewhere, NFL.com I think, that Green Bay was interested in signing Brees. I think he\'d be a good fit for them, but I dunno if he\'ll object to backing up Favre\'s last days or not...

either way...we need a few big time free agents this offseason...some big names..on both sides of the ball...im not really concerned with the draft near as much as getting some experienced players in here...im talking like an urlacher..ray lewis..that kind of guy...

What, you don\'t think Orlando Ruff is top tier? LOL. Nevermind Takeo Spikes was available. Chris Claiborne would have cost us very little more than Ruff.
I think Courtney Watson will develop into a fine MLB. In the meantime, we need surround him him some better OLBs, a couple of good DTs, and a servicable veteran to man the middle while the kid learns and to spell him every so often. |

You could give Haz/Venturi/McCarthy the freaking pro-bowl roster and in two years they\'d be 8-8. I wonder what Tom Coughlin would be doing with a team more talented than the Giant scabs he\'s currently whipping into shape. |
