Okay, I am really ticked now!!!!!

How can Dave Wannstedt, a guy who has a winning record with his current club and had his world implode around him in the offseason be asked to resign and do it, and we can't get rid of Haslett? Dave Wannstedt has been 10-6 in arguably the toughest division in football the past couple of seasons and he gets the boot? And Haslett doesn't? Where is the justice in this world? How is this even possible? Ron Zook has winning seasons at florida and he has to go? But as our team gets worse and worse not only year after year, game after game, Haslett gets to stay? There are no words...............................

One question. If Haslett were to be fired today, who would we have as our head coach?

I don\'t care if it was a monkey flinging dung at a blackboard with plays and assignments on it, get rid of Haslett!! He is a waste. Players do not wanna play for him or his staff. Maybe we can get that chicken that Homer had that presses the keys on the keyboard in that episode of the Simpsons where he got really fat and was working from home. Can\'t be much worse than what we are currently seeing.

Of course if you are serious, I don\'t really care who helps them to the second pick in the draft, as long as I know a change is DEFINITE this off season and not just probable. If Haslett is fired now, there is no chance for the team to luck up and win a couple of games and he keep his job. That\'s what I want, for there to be no doubt.

John Clayton said on the radio this morning that, with Wannstedt stepping down, Haslett tops the list of coaches most likely to be fired, but it won\'t happen until after the season is over, nor should it.

I will have to disagree then. I am more of a show me the sure thing type of guy. If Haslett is fired now, then I am sure he won\'t be back next year and a couple of lucky bounces of the pig skin won\'t have me sitting through another year of this clown.

If we could find a head coach now I would say Haslett should be fired now. That way the new coach would at least have an opportunity to get to know the players giving him a head start over next year. Even if we do not find one we should dump him. Maybe that would let the players know that this team is serious about winning -- it would certainly let the fans know

I read Haslett\'s news conference and he still is taking no blame, all I hear is the offense this, defense that. No taking blame on himself or coaches

You people do realize that negotiating a coaching contract with a coordinator from another team during the season is considered tampering and brings with it a heavy fine in both money and draft picks, correct?

I never said we should do that BNB, as I know that is against the rules. But during the 1st week of the playoffs, of which we obviously have no shot, you are allowed to talk to coordinators of other teams. Having our coaching job vacant creates a clear indication to anyone we talk to the team is serious. And we all know though it is against the rules for teams to talk to opposing coordinators during the season, feelers are put out to gage a coordinator or other coach\'s interest. Let\'s not be naive. Hell, Parcells talked to the Jets the night before the Patriots\' Superbowl game here in New Orleans and it is common knowledge now. Fire Haslett. No more *****-footing around.
