I know it's not easy to follow for some but in a nutshell.
You have 9 million in Salary this year. I'm going to give you 8m now up front and pay you 1m in salary if you sign this paper adding 2 years and 7m to your contract. Agent gets his cut so he is fine with it. |

Loomis has a tendency to over value some players I think. But if Benson is willing to spend the $ more power to you Mickey.
