Former NFL safety Darren Sharper surrenders to police after New Orleans arrest warrant issued
Already facing charges of drugging and raping two women in Los Angeles, to which he has pleaded not guilty, former NFL safety Darren Sharper faces two counts of aggravated rape in New Orleans, according to a New Orleans Police press release issued Thursday.
The release states that investigators from both the New Orleans Sex Crimes unit and the Orleans Parish district attorney’s office obtained arrest warrants for Sharper, 38, and 26-year-old Erik Nunez, “for the alleged aggravated rapes of two women in New Orleans last September.” Nunez also faces two counts of aggravated rape. “Last week, investigators learned that not one, but two women were allegedly sexually assaulted by Sharper in the same apartment the night of September 23rd (2013),” the NOPD press release reads. “New information uncovered also indicates that Nunez also allegedly raped both women that night at the same location.” Read more: Former NFL safety Darren Sharper*surrenders to police after New Orleans arrest warrant issued - NY Daily News Former NFL safety Darren Sharper*surrenders to police after New Orleans arrest warrant issued - NY Daily News |
