I'd like it to go a few rounds but will stop when people have had enough. If these things are not moving at a fairly decent pace thet tend to tail off. Im hoping for to get to at least round 3 personally

I will set up a template so that people can quote and add their pick to make keeping track of selections easier.Hopefully people will log on regually orleave picks with another player if they are not going to be on for a a while as it keeps things moving.If these drafts keep getting held up they tend to die a slow death as people loose interest.

In theory this sounds like tons of fun. In reality its a monstrous undertaking.

What I would suggest is a complete list of draft-able players be distributed via email and the draft go down in the live chat so people can select and remove selected players from the list. Otherwise you are looking at having to scan pages and pages of draft picks so you know who is available in the 4th round.

A 7 round draft has 224 picks in so the list will be quite lengthy just to cover that much less covering all those names that inevitably will not be picked. Unless you decide to keep it to only a few rounds.

This may help, everyone can have this printed before the draft starts. If it isn't printed or in a format where teams can mark players off the list its going to get very confusing.

I'm up for not making this difficult. How about only 2 rounds? Picks are posted on this thread and commented on if wanted. Then bold NEXT PICK # HANDLE EXILE after your pick. Replace # and handle as appropriate. 2 rounds shouldn't need a player list distributed. If you can't keep up with only 2 rounds then you need to go do your brain exercises.

2 rounds make a lot of sense. And if anyone is lagging on their picks, I'm sure there will be no shortage of people to make a quick pick for that person.

Ill get it sorted later.
We can set it as 2 rounds and see how it goes. I have done similar drafts on other forums for soccer and we get through around 160 picks in a few days but that is with players who are always on yhe site.

Hopefully this will work.
